Well, I'm back at work which means my daughter is off to grandma's. Since my husband and I both work full time, our daughter spends practically the whole summer at grandma's. There are definitely advantages and disadvantages to that! It is always good for a married couple with children to have some time to themselves. So, it is an advantage because my husband and I get to spend some quality time together. However, it is a disadvantage because when our daughter comes home, she expects to get away with everything. She thinks the rules no longer apply to her. It seems like we spend the whole weekend getting her back to normal just in time for her to go back to grandma's house! I don't worry about it though because I know one day she will have kids and we will get to do the same to her! As it says in the bible, "You reap what you sow!" We do miss her while she is away. She will be going to Church Camp next week. She will greatly be missed but we are looking forward to seeing what God has in store for her. We know that she will have a great time and that God is going to do great things in her life. When I was pregnant with her, I almost lost her. I had two previous miscarriages and I was afraid of a third one। I remember calling the doctor and being told that there was a great chance that I would miscarry again. I stayed in bed and prayed all night. I asked God to spare her and I told him that if he would spare her, I would give her to him. I have tried to raise her in church and teach her right from wrong. I am glad that she belongs to Christ!
